Edwardian traditions are fascination to the modern sensibility and palate. A chance to walk into the past, and experience a day in the life at an Edwardian Estate. Guests are encouraged to attend in period dress and may assume a persona appropriate for the time period.

Ellie and Mark will appear as Mrs. Eaton and Mr. Howe to perform their Cookery and Service Course for those wishing to enter service and their Manor House Management Training for the Aristocrats in attendance. Certifications are provided for the attendees as a take-away. Explore period cooking techniques, tools, recipes and ingredients.

Ellie is also an avid Downton Abbey, Manor House and Upstairs Downstairs viewer and is able to discuss those programs extensively.

Join us for a traditional High Tea (which is actually "lower" than Low Tea, but is called "high" because it is not served from low table, but is an actual sit down meal with heartier fare generally eaten by working class and middle class folk as their evening meal.) Tea will be included and a selection of beer and vintage cocktails will be served at a cash bar.

The day consists of three events and avid fans are encouraged to attend more than one event. The Castle will be offering a very limited number of packages including overnight accommodations. Please call 269-344-1827 for package inquiry and availability.
